ATTRIBUTION OF OPEN RESOURCES

OER Open Educational Resources should include correct attribution with the digital object. 

This is in addition to a citation on a works cited page..

Elements and Format of Attribution are:  Title  by  Author  licensed under  CC BY

  • Title of content item. Link to the source URL.  Example is from Google Images open license.
  • Author's name; and/or Organization or Project information if applicable. Link a URL to further author information if  available. The author example is linked to the photographer's Flickr page.
  • Creative Commons Licensing information. This information will be found with the content object. Link to the matching Creative Commons license explanation page.  Use Google.com, search using the CC license ( for example - CC BY)
