Some of the Best Sources of Information

The following are some of the best sources of information in this research guide.  They are listed here but also presented in tabs above by category with instructions on how to use them effectively.

  • Credo Reference: Academic Wikipedia, a good first place to go for definitions of basic psychological disorders
  • Academic Search Premier and ProQuest Direct: Databases that will find articles in magazines, journals and newspapers.  Both have articles you can read in pyschology journals or online. 
  • Science Direct:  scholarly journal database with some psychology journals included
  • The Personality Project is a website from Northwestern University and has a lot of links to good, reliable psychology information.
