Poetry Alive Guide: For More Assistance!

Resources for poetry from around the world

Writing Help

There is help available for writing, citing and formating.  If you are required to use MLA or APA or Chicago writing formats you can find help at the Tutor Center in the L Building.  Help is also available from the following websites.

For help

Help is available at the Library - come in and talk to a librarian.  The Research Guide is intended to work like a handout but it doesn't replace talking one on one with someone who can help you find the best sources of information and show you how to use them.  Refer back to the Home tab for telephone numbers and e-mail address.

Ask a Librarian   is a 24/7 Reference Service - live chat with a librarian somewhere in the world!  Use this when SVC is closed (during the weekend, late or very late at night, or very early in the morning).  A librarian from as far away as Australia or Hong Kong can read your question, ask for clarification, see what the SVC library has and answer your question.  A copy of that answer will be sent to us and we will follow up if needed.
