In my research, I found that finding good keywords to input into the article databases helped me find useful and relevant sources for my topic. At the beginning of my research, I was using words that I thought were my keywords but in reality, they were too broad and I was not getting the sources I wanted. To find keywords that were actually useful to my research I made a list of words that I knew that I needed to use in my search and then another list of words that were not getting me the results I wanted. By doing this I clarified my searches and got useful scholarly sources out of them. Another tip I have for someone trying to research Abortion laws is to find sources that include statistics on abortion, this could be found on the Credo Reference database.
