This source was helpful with taking a dive into the mental health side of online education as well as overall satisfaction of students who gain(ed) education online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also was helpful with a dive into how another country has handled education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jensen, L. (2019). Integrating Social Media into Online Education. Library Technology Reports, 55(4), 27–30.

This source was useful with explaining how social media being involved with online education just wouldn't work. It also provided me some light into the drainage some students feel with online education.

Kerimbayev, N., Akramova, A., & Suleimenova, J. (2016). E-learning for ungraded schools of Kazakhstan: Experience, implementation, and innovation. Education and Information Technologies, 21(2), 443–451.

This source provided me light into what other countries are doing in terms of making online education affordable. With having a requirement for online education to be affordable in rural areas, Kazakhstan puts up a good example of affordable online education.

Another dive into mental health, with Chinese children aged from seven to 15 years of age. Also gave insight into how the parents feel about online education and how it affects their child(ren).

Goes into the learning strategies that online education can help students learn despite not having a very strong structure. Also mentions how online education is more student-based than teacher-based regarding lessons.

Analyzes the structure of online education. Lists off some of the biggest issues, as well as some of the lesser known issues.

Surveyed Indian students and why they prefer online education over in-person. Also gives insight into how India is handling education during the pandemic.

Lists off barriers online education has. Also provides some solutions to these barriers and why it would improve online education as a whole.

Skinner, B. (2019). Making the Connection: Broadband Access and Online Course Enrollment at Public Open Admissions Institutions. Research in Higher Education, 60(7), 960–999.

Gives insight into how the government is involved, specifically the Federal Communications Committee (FCC). Mainly goes through the National Broadband Plan dating back to 2009.
