Librarians provide in person, online synchronous and online asynchronous instruction. To request instruction, please complete this form. We highly recommend faculty offer online library instruction materials prior to scheduling a session with a librarian to prepare and scaffold student learning.

During remote operations, the library has licensing agreements with Swank Digital Campus and Kanopy for streaming video. Please contact a librarian if you would like to order a title from these services.

Moving course materials online

SVC Librarians are available to consult with you about transitioning your course materials to an online format. We are proficient in copyright law, fair use, open licensing, and mapping materials to course outcomes.

Open educational resources (OER) are always free! If you're working to transition or rebuilt your class online and you want to use materials that you can keep forever, search for OER, which are openly licensed. Your librarians can assist with understanding, finding, using, and modifying OER.
