How Do I Find...

Using the Catalog

Use OneSearch to find books, dvds, cds and other library materials. Choose Library Catalog to look for things in the library.

The catalog tells you whether the library owns an item, where it's located, and if it is available to check out.  It also allows you to:
  • Look up Course Reserves
  • View your Library Account and Renew Items
  • Place holds on items that are checked out
  • Opt out of library email notifications

Log in to OneSearch by using your SVC email address and password. This will also allow you to place holds, view your library account, renew library materials save your research.

Checking Out Library Items

  • Use your SVC Student Photo ID card to check out library materials.
  • Student ID cards are free.
  • If on MV campus - Go to Registration to get your ID card and then the library to get the barcode sticker
  • If on WI campus - Go to the library to get both ID card and barcode.
  • Now you're ready to check things out!
